Dear Editor,
I was sitting in sadhana chanting as usual, when I realized I was all uptight; the sadhana was not bringing the peace, joy, upliftment as it usually did.
I realized I was sitting there calculating the money. How much would go here, how much there, how there wasn’t quite enough, how I needed a little more to cover this and that.
I felt the tightness in my body and knew this would not be a good day if I could not get out of my first chakra. This hadn’t happened in a long time. What was going on?
Of course the answer came. For several years, I had been giving to Dasvandh regularly, with the prayer and the reassurance that God would take care of it. Since Summer Solstice, I hadn’t.
I couldn’t wait to write the check, giving of my dollar energy to the Infinite once more. Giving that space in my calculated income for Guru’s input, energy, peace.
Wahe Guru.
