On May 29th, 1992, the Siri Singh Sahib issued a directive stating that at each formal, full length Gurdwara program, "The children of the Sadh Sangat shall sing a Sikh Dharma song, which shall be presented before the Song of the Khalsa, Anand Sahib, and Ardas...The children are supposed to come and be on the stage. It is their time. They are to ’sit like saints, that’s the first lesson.’ If we let our children be shy of coming on the stage and do not train them to ‘M.C. life,’ they will suffer very badly. Let us take stage fright away from the children. The drama of the stage is on the whole world. You face trauma every day. Those who are shy of coming on the stage and facing everyone can never be leaders...A leader has to be a good M.C. (Master of Ceremonies), and has to have a good impact. And then the guidance has to be perfect, like the Infinity of God."

"These are three values we can give our children, and we’ll save lots of trouble in tomorrow: Give your children the stage, give them the characteristics, and give them the character to confront. And give them the best of them, so they can elevate. If you can share this with your children, you can have your children ten times better than you are...Three elementary things you have to give them: spiritual values, social values, and ethical values. Give them all the values you can give, but give them one thing -- with love and affection, practice with them." "If my grandfather had said to me, ‘Hold my hand, I’ll walk with you,’ I would have been nuts, too. But he said, ‘Walk in front of me. You are my future.’ I learned: my impact is in the future..." Siri Singh Sahib, July 2, 1992

In March, 1993, the children’s program was expanded to include Celestial Communication. As a science, it is a powerful technique for healing the body, relaxing the brain, uplifting the soul, and purifying the entire being. One of the results is that prosperity and success come to people who practice this technique. Most importantly, it is a delightful way for our children to celebrate movement and meditation. There is a child in each and every adult.

The Siri Singh Sahib has requested each person in the Sadh Sangat to follow the children’s lead from the stage--to participate and experience the effects of Celestial Communication. It is a meditative kriya--one that the Siri Singh Sahib says etches the meaning of the words and its values into our beings. It seems to demand a direct proportion of inner strength and commitment in order to experience the matching radiance of projection--that’s how life is.

SS Hari Kirn Kaur Khalsa from Los Angeles is coordinating the Celestial Communication (CC) program for our children. Besides her wonderful video tape on CC titled WE ARE THE KHALSA, she has created several shorter video tapes. These are being used in our sangat youth programs so that the children are learning the same songs and shabds with the same CC movements. Then when they come together, such as at Baisakhi, Solstices, camps, and other programs, they can practice as a group and enjoy the expanded consciousness that brings, and also perform in programs.
