Letters To The Editor
Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

The Sante Fe New Mexican newspaper publishes a brief article in the paper daily on significant events of the last 100 years. In the July 5, 1994 edition, the following historical event was noted: July 5, 1969: Various members of the Juke Savage Commune are engaged in a project of setting up an ashram, or school, for Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga. This school of Yoga claims to offer a means of achieving an inner balance of your psyche through a rigorous course of training.

Dear Editor,

I wanted to take a moment after reading the latest Prosperity Paths to honor the great job that the staffs of Prosperity Paths and Sikh Dharma Development Office are doing. Not only are you publishing a newsletter (in itself quite a feat!), but you are publishing a fabulous newsletter - innovative, well-crafted, informative, and especially, very inspiring. Each time that I read Prosperity Paths I am uplifted. Each page seems better than the last one. Each article shows that much time and thought went into it. They are well-researched and the newsletter layout is appealing and cohesive.

In addition to Dasvandh testimonials, please consider a regular "Letter to the Editor" page where people might send their suggestions, questions, critical comments, and appreciations of your work. I understand that your readership is steadily increasing. Such a letter page could provide a nice forum for communication. Sometimes those doing the job of futurists - envisioning, researching, and planning for a secure future - are not always understood or appreciated in the present. By my observation, your staffs work consistently and steadily very hard on a daily (nightly and weekendly!) basis nurturing and growing the present, while excitedly embracing our immediate and distant futures.

Thank you again for the splendid jobs, beautifully well done.

Sat Nam,
Amrit Kaur Khalsa, Espanola NM
