Leadership In The Aquarian Age
Leadership in the Aquarian Age
M.S.S. S. Guru Amrit Kaur Khalsa

Secretary General of Sikh Dharma

Leadership in all areas of society is facing extreme predicaments, which may climax at the turn of the century. Leadership may even be a new field of study in colleges and universities. Our new awareness that we are a global collective consciousness, not individual, will impact upon the thinking, management and leadership styles of the future.

The future will demand from everyone to develop as a leader; in order for everyone to live a conscious, responsible life. The global concept of our planet and humanity’s role on Earth is beginning to be more holistic and inter related. Survival of the planet requires a quantum leap in our management of our Earth. This in turn is affecting our management style in all fields of endeavor. The transformation that happened in each of our lives is taking place in the collective psyche of humanity. Masses will yearn for the Sciences of Kundalini Yoga and Shabd Guru.

What is our unique role? It starts very simply. Know yourself. Your soul. Serve the spirit that lies within you and guides you. If you are a teacher, that knowledge that flows through you must now be taught, It must be shared with others. Our gifts to others have been the Science of Kundalini Yoga and the tradition of a spiritual faith and Dharmic lifestyle. To quote the Siri Singh Sahib "Where there is Dharma, there is no Karma." What a gift. Our role now is to let the world know we exist.

How do we do that? By living and sharing the wisdom and grace that is inherent in our lifestyle. Let us rise to the occasion and take a leadership role; a role of serving others with these teachings and bringing peace and unity to the world.

For twenty five years we have been preparing for the turn of the century; in order to fulfill our purpose as Siblings of Destiny. As pioneers, leaders and teachers for the Aquarian Age, it is time we more actively reach out to teach the wealth of knowledge we have been entrusted to share. Our individual and collective challenge is to serve as leaders and teachers now and into the next millennium.
