International Sat Nam Rasayan Healing Conference
International Sat Nam Rasayan Healing Conference
S.S. Hari Simran Kaur Khalsa, Espanola NM, U.S.A.

The fourth annual International Sat Nam Rasayan Healing Conference was held in Assisi, Italy, in early December, 1995. Sat Nam Rasayan is the healing technique that has been handed down through the traditions of Kundalini Yoga and Sikh Dharma. One hundred thirty students gathered to study the ‘Art of Knowing’, taught by SS Guru Dev Singh Khalsa, the renowned native Mexican healer who makes his headquarters in Rome, Italy.

With over 30% of the participants now practicing Sat Nam Rasayan professionally, this course represented a new chapter in the development of this ancient tradition. There are 40 teachers world wide, ten of whom reside in the United States. Belgium, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, South America, Spain, and the US were represented by advanced students; only one student in the entire conference was new to Sat Nam Rasayan. The advanced nature of the course material was a reflection of the rapid development of this healing art over the last five years and the participants’ advanced level. Students were overjoyed at the announcement of the premier of the first Sat Nam Rasayan manual, which will be at Summer Solstice, 1996, in New Mexico.

Guru Dev Singh recounted the journey he and his family have made in order to bring this primordial technology to the world. This journey included being transferred to Rome from Mexico six years ago, where his Mexican fortune in pesos was reduced to a pittance in Italian lire. To remedy this insolvency, he began to invite anyone and everyone to dinner each Thursday, Guru’s day, where he told the story of Muskilgushka, the mystic Sufi tale of God’s formula for prosperity, by Nasrudin. (To obtain a copy of this bounty producing story, call 505-747-1646.) It is said that the fourth Sikh Guru, Guru Ram Das, was called Muskilgushka, which means ‘Remover of Obstacles.’ This tradition of prosperity continues in the home of the Guru Dev’s in Rome and among his many students world wide, making it now a part of the Sat Nam Rasayan tradition. Guru Dev Singh encouraged teachers and practitioners to tithe, to keep the money flowing so that it could come back to continue building the teachings.

The annual August summer Sat Nam Rasayan Conference in the U.S. will mark the completion of the development of the Level II curriculum of the Four Levels projected for the school. For more information on the technology, class locations, and conference information, please call 213-655-2088.
