Catherine Ponder, one of the world’s foremost experts and teachers of prosperity, writes, “One of the most scientific, businesslike, and spiritual ways of sharing is through the act of tithing one-tenth of one’s gross income to God’s work. Systematic giving opens the way to systematic receiving.” (“Secrets of Unlimited Prosperity”)

The Siri Singh Sahib (Yogi Bhajan) has spoken many times about tithing. He has often said that God’s work doesn’t NEED your money, YOU just need to give it and by giving it you are triggering the Universe to respond to you in kind. “You should just say, ‘With my sadhana and my life, for my own sake, I have to spare x-amount.” You give 2 1/2 hours of your time to Sadhana, and one-tenth of your money you give back to the Infinite.”

Charles Fillmore in his book “Prosperity”, wrote, “When a person tithes he is giving continuously, so that no spirit of grasping, no fear, and no thought of limitation gets a hold upon him. There is nothing that keeps a person’s mind so fearless and so free to receive the good constantly coming to him as the practice of tithing.”

This month, we encourage you to reach for the Big Ten. If you don’t already have an existing tithing program, we encourage you to start one. If you have one, we invite you to challenge the law of tithing by giving ten percent. If you’re already at ten percent - congratulations, your prosperity is assured. Don’t give to support a program, give for your own prosperity.

We are here to serve you.
