Dear Sadh Sangat
Dear Sadh Sangat,

Sat Nam. Each one of us has been introduced to a unique and amazing technology for life through the grace of Yogi Bhajan. His teachings are changing and elevating our lives. In the last twenty-five years, Yogi Bhajan has given his students a wealth of knowledge never before available to us in the West. He has given us the technology to bring us through any life challenge and to help us become the happy, healthy, holy beings we are meant to be.

Many of us regularly write to Yogi Bhajan for his guidance, or seek his blessing in person when we have the opportunity. It is my privilege to share with you the ancient and worldwide custom of making an offering to a spiritual Master when you seek such guidance. This energy exchange symbolizes your gratitude for the teachings. This is a gift of the heart, and its form is not important. Historically, these offerings have been as lavish as a kingdom or as simple as an apple. Whatever form your gratitude may take, it is a private matter between you and the spiritual Master.

If you choose to make a monetary offering, the amount that feels right to you is the right amount. If you have an interest in numerology, you might like to follow the 3HO tradition of giving $11, $26, $54 or $108. (11 is the number of infinity, 26 the number of fearlessness, 54 the calm teacher of the heart, and 108 the serene combination of creativity, salvation and fearlessness.)

I encourage you to continue to learn and grow through the teachings of Yogi Bhajan. For those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to experience the increase of prosperity which comes through appropriate giving, I invite you to share in this ancient tradition.

May God bless you and guide you. In the Name of the Cosmos which prevails through everyBODY and the Holy Nam which holds the world.

Humbly yours,

Siri Simran Kaur Khalsa
Personal Secretary
