Grandfathering:
We are happy to announce that the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) and the 3HO International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA) will co-sponsor the Grandfathering Certification Program starting this June. Any long-time teacher of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan may apply.
Applications will be available in June at the Teachers Conference, Summer Solstice, and KWTC or you may send a self-addressed, envelope with $1.50 postage to: 3HO Foundation, Route 3 Box 4 Shady Lane, Espanola, NM 87532, and your application will be mailed to you. Please return your application with the $26 application fee. We will let you know if you qualify.
IKYTA members who qualify and submit the $275 Grandfathering fee will receive a copy of the KRI Teacher Training Manual for study purposes and the open-book qualifying exam. (For non-members the Grandfathering fee is $350.) Your typed exam must be submitted within ninety days or you will have to reapply. Teachers who pass will receive a 3HO/KRI Teacher Training Certificate and Card. Those who do not pass the first time may take a second qualifying exam for $75.
The option to be Grandfathered will be open from June 1995 through August 1996. After this time, teachers will need to attend a KRI Teacher Training Certification Program to be certified.
For those who do not qualify for Grandfathering and would like to be certified, a special discounted KRI Teacher Training is being offered for women at KWTC this summer. Please see page 10 for more details.

Our Second Annual Kundalini Yoga Teachers Conference will again be chaired by Gurucharan Singh Khalsa. Make your plans now to join us at the Old Santa Fe Music Hall in Santa Fe, NM, June l5 & 16.
We have the honor to have Yogi Bhajan address us on both days. The theme he chose is: The Five Steps of the Oath and The Ten Facets of the Teacher's Personality. If you were there last year, you know how valuable it was to sit with him and have the opportunity to ask questions related to teaching and the Science of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation.
