Ram Das Puri is a very etheric wonderful place for our children to spend time together. But how many times have tents flooded or blown down on Khalsa children at summer camp? More times than we can count! The new adobe-looking concrete cabins will give a cozy respite from the harsh environment of the high desert. Six 2-room cabins are designed with 8 bunks per room, sleeping a total of 96.

A number of local contractors are bidding on the project. Time is being taken to consider the best location on the property relative to the environment, proper cabin temperature and for future use of the land, including the Temple Of Steel. For a minimal $36, $54, or $108 per month on automatic withdrawal, you can help build Ram Das Puri now! The funds are paid to Dasvandh, but you can direct them specifically to KYC Cabins. The cabins are designed to be much nicer than most summer camp cabins and will be used for decades.

Ceramic tiles will be installed into the cabins in the names of the donors of $1000 or more, inscribing brief words of the donors choice. Using the $108 per month for 10 months, you can accumulate the $1000 easily. Donations of $2,500 or more will receive the additional acknowledgement of a plaque at the front of the Tantric Shelter on a display board. Come to Summer Solstice next summer to see your Dasvandh dollars manifesting for the future NOW! Increase your prosperity by committing to regular giving, whatever the amount. If 300 of us commit to $36 per month for 10 months, we raise $108,000! Do YOU have an extra $36 per month? Sign your automatic transfer paper now, and prosper.

Another exciting possibility has been a donor to pay for the entire construction cost of one room of the cabin, giving that donor the use of that room with eight bunks every summer for the week of Summer Solstice! For any questions about the cabins or any of the fund raising plans, please call Deva Singh or Kaur at (305) 345-6006.
