Excerpts from the Address to the Khalsa Council

Somehow, with reason or no reason, we have very slowly completed from 0 to 25 years of our life. This 25 years may look differently to you than as our history. The concept of Guru Granth Sahib was searched out scientifically. Human mind in human body can have the strength of the spirit to excel to deathlessness. Not only Guru Gobind Singh’s four sons, but the five beloved ones on Baisakhi qualified. Those who offered their heads lived afterward for some time, in the same consciousness. This is the par excellence consciousness of the human being. It represents the principle of God while alive.
I cannot tell this House how good it is to live like a saint, but I’ll try to paint it for you. With all that there is, was and shall be, if you still keep walking with determination that you are Sikh of the Guru, you are better than a saint or God itself--because on this earth, God prevails through the consciousness of the Guru. God doesn’t prevail direct . You can have all the money, but you have to have a check. It doesn’t matter how successfully you will live. Ultimately what will live will be your concept of consciousness, what you did for the people to follow. You are a criminal ethically, and socially and in every way when you fail to give teachings, values and experiences of values. It is not legacy, but just serving the lineage. Those who serve lineage are just two-legged animals. Human in consciousness is supposed to create a legacy. Whatever sacrifice is required for that is an essential part of it. We have to understand that there is a sense of duty--very powerful instinct.
You shall be and you shall have 5000 years. This Khalsa order shall be unique. It shall belong to those humans who have been granted that frequency of the soul. You are not going to convert anybody or proselytize this religion. And you will never understand each other. Because everybody is there by its own right. If you ever think, "I became Khalsa Ji because I happen to know by my wisdom," forget it. It is not true at all. All the problems of life are just emotional tests. They should not be considered a challenge. Challenge is to walk in your own lofty excellence, and those challenges should not be considered calamity--when you are fortunate. A Khalsa without calamity is a man without breakfast, a Khalsa without tragedy is a man without lunch. Keep on merging your will into the will of God. If you accept the will of God you are perfectly accepted.
As far as the world is concerned, we are entering the Age of Aquarius, and all your law degrees and medical degrees and business degrees and your virtues, and all that you have had so far will be absolutely obsolete. It shall have no relationship whatsoever. It will not hold mankind in any concept of corruption as well as in excellence. Mind you, all your religious theory and all your dramas and all your formations and your new knowledge will mean nothing. You’ll be absolutely hollow, shallow, empty human beings. Only thing that can exist with people is the experience--and it will be your meditative experience that you can rise above it. Eagle flies above clouds; man’s consciousness must go above elements. So, if you can look into that element consciousness and be coherent, then you will do certain things: you will take charge of your children today as your students, you will teach them so they can serve tomorrow better than you. You shall organize yourself beyond your personal weaknesses so you can serve the consciousness of legacy. You will become a very integral part of the very inner importance of your own presiding consciousness so that wherever you are, you have a domain of influence, and you will very gladly share the technology to lift and serve human beings against their depression and disappointment modes. Lastly, you will teach people the science and art of Akal Moort, that is what Guru Nanak said, that’s what Siri Guru Granth Sahib gave us, and that’s what we are. When a person lives as Akal Moort, personified pictorial God, then God has no option but to dwell in such person. Then ajuni, saibhang, gurprasad comes through.
We need those who can carry many. Pritam Bhagautee has eight hands, the very pulse of every nerve. Therefore, it will be graceful on the part of us all to honor our status, and extend our estate, domain, and make statements as Guru has made for us so we continue to fly the flag of the mission. An unbelievable phenomenon is many odds exist. The trend and tendencies are 90 against 10, but you have existed to prove that as everything else is, you still like the conscious living. "So long as the Khalsa lives in pure, personal excellence, away from the routine, He shall give you all the power and strength. When he becomes a commoner, I take away all the satisfaction." Today I am speaking to you as a father to his children, older brother sharing experience, and other human being requesting, still there is a time and a chance. If your ego has blinded you so far, wake up now. This is a wake-up call. There’s a whole Sarkar e Khalsa. It’s beauty is excellent.
God has no equal. Jabala Khalsa. Niyare means exclusive, par excellent. Our strength of seva and simran shall carry us. When there’s no water, you can take a stem of that desert plant and it will carry you. That is how valuable you will be. I can see that future more easily than I see you today: opportunities will walk to you. It is the parting of the ways; we have to part ways with the Piscean age to see the glory of the Aquarian Age; that is the glory of Guru Nanak.
