Let Your Gift Give You Something in Return

The Guru Amar Das Level Two Plan is a Retirement Alternative. It is a plan which generates income for Sikh Dharma and provides both substantial retirement and death benefits to you. Donors can save for their future while helping Sikh Dharma create an Endowment Fund which will provide both current and long term income needed to further Sikh Dharma's various programs and services.

How does the Guru Amar Das Retirement Alternative work?

The plan is based on a deferred compensation program which uses life insurance as the financial vehicle. It is similar to plans used for corporate executives with further benefits of providing tax deductible contributions and allowing for income tax free retirement distributions.

The program's success is based upon each member doing his or her part so that the aggregate benefit will be an immense source of financial power for Sikh Dharma.

Level Two Plan

Level Two requires 4 to 15 annual contributions (donor's choice). Maximum donor age is sixty five. Donor applies for a life insurance policy and assigns a portion of the death benefits and cash values to Sikh Dharma. Donor then makes a cash gift to Sikh Dharma, which uses a portion to prepay its share of life insurance premiums and the balance for current cash flow requirements. Donor must pay a small premium for the economic benefits retained (the unassigned portion of the policy).

Members will be funding a retirement plan which will grow over time. This will provide a sizable tax free income when you retire, and an income-tax free death benefit to your family. The benefits from this plan are so dramatic that members may want to set up similar plans for their spouses and children to insure security and prosperity for the entire family.
