From Our Readers
GOD Like Silence

GOD like silence seems to linger, seems to rush like blood to your head,
Heavy, thick, beautiful.

When thoughts just sit
And sit and wait for the procreation of action, fetus shaped words
And adjectives that hang on your tongue like…like…
Too much silence.

Only in these silences, cocooned shelled and warm do we sniff out the
Rose, honeysuckle and gardenia sweetness of our silent GOD.

Perfumed,
Pungent, do we waft our silence through the chaos, through the clamor
Of the loudest humanity,

While they hush, smell and
follow the path
That feels too right…….but oddly just is.
