Grandfathering Certification - Now or Never!
We expect to receive a flood of Grandfathering Applications by the August 31st deadline, and if you are eligible, we hope yours is one of them! If you have at least 500 hours of Kundalini Yoga teaching experience, take advantage of this opportunity to be KRI Certified now.
The Siri Singh Sahib, Yogi Bhajan, has outlined three levels of Teacher Training, and Grandfathering is equivalent to Level 1 Instructor. We're sure when you see the programs offered for Level 2 Practitioner and Level 3 Teacher, you will want to have the Level 1 prerequisite under your belt! Also, if you are interested in teaching the standardized International Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Certification program, you will need to be KRI Certified yourself.
The Grandfathering Fee can be paid by Master Card or Visa, or you can request a Prepayment Form when you submit your Application.
Teacher's Conference Highlights
"This years Conference was the best one yet!" That was the enthusiastic response from one Conference attendee. The speakers were informative and entertaining, and the atmosphere at lunch was buzzing as teachers new and old got to know each other.
Yogi Bhajan topped off the day with his wit and wisdom:
"You have to learn just a few things. Don’t be yourself when you deal with your students. Can you do that? The beauty of a teacher, and the duty of a teacher, is in not being himself or herself. Because moment you become not yourself, the pure channel of energy you become, between you and God there’s no difference at that moment. Then you know what the problem is? Then it’s not your problem, then God has to come himself to cover himself, because God is a teacher too.
You are a teacher when you go by the code that you have been taught, and you stick with it. Then Almighty Creator shall create the environment to honor you, save you, protect you, and create a miracle to take you through. When you deal with a student, take away his garbage and give him essence and height and love, then you are a teacher. That’s your duty. Whenever you add your personality to it you ruin yourself, and ruin the other person on the spot."
