Prosperity Kids!
The most essential law of prosperity is that of tithing, giving 10% to Infinity. The Siri Singh Sahib (Yogi Bhajan) says, “You gain when you give. There is no need to pray for yourself. Pray for others, and the Creator will pray for you.”

Children and young adults can be involved in giving to their own infinity just as much as adults by giving back to their community.

For example, many schools across the US hold food drives to stock local food banks. In other programs, children help out at retirement homes, even just by their presence. Many Sikh communities have Seva (selfless service) programs anyone – even children – can participate in. Time spent helping others is time that gives back to your community and one’s self.

“Whatever goodness, kindness, compassion, and strength of prayer you have, you must share. It is a labor without reward. Why? Because God shall give you a hundred thousand times more reward than anyone else can.” Siri Singh Sahib (Yogi Bhajan)

This is the practice of selfless service, also known as Karma Yoga. Kids can practice this meditation anywhere, and it is a perfect opportunity for them to learn how to give.
