Sikhs can be found in almost every part of the world (estimated at 20,000,000 Sikhs worldwide). It is only since the late l960’s however, that thousands of people in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Europe have embraced the Sikh way of life through the inspiration of Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji.

The Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan brought to the west not only the inspiration of his deep personal love and reverence for the Guru but he teaches the practical application of the Guru’s power and wisdom. His knowledge of shabd, the power of the sound current inherent in the Guru’s words, and his deep understanding of their meaning has opened the hearts and minds of people everywhere. Sikh Dharma is a religion of experience, and that experience is open and available to all, Sikh and non-Sikh alike. The virtues of love and courage, dedication and righteousness belong to all people, just as all people have a birthright to be Healthy, Happy and Holy.

In 1969 the 3HO Foundation (Healthy, Happy, Holy Organization) was formed to train teachers in the sacred science of Dharmic lifestyle, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, and to provide a blueprint and the technology for living healthy, happy, and holy in all aspects of life.

One does not have to be a Sikh to practice or teach the 3HO (healthy, happy, holy) lifestyle. There are thousands of people who are actively engaged in spreading the 3HO teachings who do not follow the Sikh religion, nor do all Sikhs utilize the teachings of 3HO in their personal lives.
