I believe in prosperity. I believe it is a birthright. And I believe in the power of giving. It was what I was taught as a child, even though I grew up in a financially challenged family, which became affluent through philanthropy and the power of giving. The ways that I experienced my family giving as a child made it natural for me to believe in the power of Guru Gobind Singh’s hukam of Dasvandh. I have felt the impact of giving in faith through first-hand experience.
Edging closer to the millennium, I ask you to give yourself this gift of faith in action. If you have never tithed, dissolve your fear by giving to Dasvandh. Give whatever you can just to have the experience of giving fearlessly - and see what you receive in return.
If you currently give on occasion, resolve to become consistent, by going on electronic funds transfer or using monthly credit card deduction. If you are a consistent donor, experiment with the potential unleashed by increasing your monthly gift.
