Predictions since the time of Nostradamus have forewarned of an earthquake in California. The Siri Singh Sahib informed us of the seven planet alignment on January 11th. He said the alignment would be so powerful that our thoughts for nine months following the alignment will affect the rest of our lives. Then Mars went conjunct Uranus in an eclipsed full moon aligning at 4:30 am on January 17th. One minute later Los Angeles was in the midst of a 6.6 earthquake. It definitely gives one a new reality to the subtle influences of planetary aspects on our lives.
Life in L. A. is settling down but it will be well over a year before life will be normal. Most of the sangat experienced some property damage, mainly related to things being shaken and broken inside our houses, along with some minor structural damage. No one has reported any physical injury to themselves or their families.
The tremendous amount of emotional stress generated by this incident was the major factor. The sangat is practicing the Earthquake Meditation to balance the inner ear and adjust their electromagnetic fields.
A security team has been organized to help the L.A. sangat prepare for any possible future episodes. Their goal is to prepare individuals for any emergency situation so each person can be self-sufficient and able to help those in need.
Heart patients have an especially difficult time as the electromagnetic field of the planet quakes. We were grateful the Siri Singh Sahib had to go to New Mexico immediately after the earthquake for the opening of the New Mexico legislature. One can only imagine what it must be like for the Mahan Tantric - who is so sensitive to the subtle forces of the heavens and earth - to go through an earthquake.
