The Third Annual Teachers Conference
Plan now to join Yogi Bhajan and fellow Kundalini Yoga Teachers at the Teachers Conference June 15, 1996 in New Mexico. This year Yogi Bhajan’s theme will be: Teaching, Teacher Training & Projection.
Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Certification
Our goals since our grassroots beginning have been to standardize Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, and to create a standard of excellence and a strong professional identity for Kundalini Yoga Teachers internationally.
This summer you have the unique opportunity to attend Teacher Training under the direct supervision of Yogi Bhajan, July 20-August 3. For details call: 505-753-4809. Grandfathering Certification is also currently underway. These programs will build a vast network of KRI Certified Teachers of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. From this solid base we will promote Kundalini Yoga as "the yoga of the Aquarian Age".
If you are interested in being a KRI Teacher Trainer please contact IKYTA. Please note that being KRI Certified is one of the main requirements. If you are a long-time teacher of Kundalini Yoga and have never been KRI certified, read on for more details.
Details on KRI Grandfathering Certification
All Grandfathering applications must be approved and the Grandfathering fee paid in full by August 31, 1996. Once your Grandfathering fee is submitted you will receive your study book and exam within 3-4 weeks. You have three months to complete and return your exam. To expedite receipt of your Grandfathering materials, include the Grandfathering fee when you send your application and $26 application fee.
The Grandfathering fee is $275 for members; $350 for non-members. Couples who are both eligible save an additional $100. There are also prepayment plans for those who wish to pay over a five month period. The last month to sign up for the prepayment is April 1996.
