The Khalsa Young Executives Association (KYEA) is a group of young adults who work together in various areas, primarily in business ventures and community involvement. The purpose of KYEA is to create a working group environment which gives young members of the Dharma the opportunity to gain the experience and develop the skills and qualities needed to take the future of the Khalsa to the next level.

KYEA, which was started a little over a year ago by Dharm Kaur Khalsa of Canada, has made tremendous progress since its initiation. KYEA currently provides a recycling service for Ashram members of Hacienda de Guru Ram Das in Espanola, NM. The service has been provided for over half a year. In addition to encouraging members of the community to recycle, it has been a success as a business venture for us. In other business development, KYEA has purchased the Country Store at the Solstice Site and ran it during the ‘95 Summer Solstice. It has numerous other business plans in development.

In addition to business ventures, KYEA is involved in the community in other ways, such as telling informational, inspiring and thought provoking stories each Sunday in Gurdwara, and teaching Gatka classes.

Members of the Association feel very happy to have an active working group of young people. It creates a vehicle to inspire each other to do what we are destined to do--be the most successful people on the planet!

Fully active members pay $26 every month in membership dues, but all young adults are invited to participate in our activities.

We would like to help you and your community to develop a Khalsa Young Executives Association. Please feel free to contact us about this, or with any questions and comments. Write to: KYEA - Public Relations, PO Box 322, Santa Cruz, NM 87567
