Proceeding with Compassion, Care, Love and Affection
June 16, 2002, Gurdwara Lecture, edited
It is beautiful to meet together on this day and continue to pursue our adopted path of happiness with grace, dignity, and divinity. It is worth celebrating that you have come from all places to this very ancient land, [Ram Das Puri, NM] to sit and bow to the Siri Guru Granth, the Shabd Guru. It is our privilege to follow this path.

The environment that God has given to us is there for our prosperity and purpose of life. We are proceeding peacefully and organizationally and we would like to give this message to the world at large: “The purpose of this life is that we should be in peace; so that the generations that follow should have a purpose, a goal, as well as the opportunity to live in discipline and reality.”

We are here as people doing God’s Will. Many of us will come, many of us will prosper, and many of us will get stronger and keep spreading the teachings. That is the Will of God. But remember: compassion, care, love, and affection are the ways in which we are to proceed, as saints and soldiers of the Guru, for our tomorrow. That is what we have to do for our sake and for Guru’s sake.

May Siri Guru Granth preside over you and guide your destiny with dignity and grace, so you can guide of your soul through time and space. This day, and everyday, wherever you are, feel blessed.

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa Wahe Guru ji ki Fateh.
