As this year ends, we are closing one part of our history, and opening the door to another. This will be the last issue of Prosperity Paths that you will see in this format and we are now merging with Aquarian Times to create a newsletter that has more ways to serve you - and we will continue to send it to you free of charge every other month.
For me, personally, it has been a slow change. I have so appreciated your love and support over the years, all your loving notes about how much you enjoy Prosperity Paths and how much it means to you to receive it, and I want you to know that we are all working together to make sure that this aspect of our publication does not change. Prosperity Paths itself will be integrated into the center of a smaller, user-friendly, free Aquarian Times and together we will be providing more of all the things you let us know you want: more previously unpublished Kundalini Yoga sets, more Yogi Bhajan lectures, more technology, more pictures. One of the nicest comments we ever received was, "such an infusion of spirit arrives with each issue of Prosperity Paths." If you know anything about the nature of the Taurus zodiac, you will know that the bull is hard to change. And yet - when it changes - it is steadfast in its path. Even though I am by zodiac and nature truly Taurean, I know that we are changing together to ensure that this spirit continues to arrive in your mailbox and I am grateful for it. In fact, I'm really excited about it and I hope you are, too.
Do you remember the Lighthouse Video? Yogi Bhajan's voice saying, "You are the lighthouses, big or small, of the Aquarian Age…" Since his death last year, his voice echoes in my ears even more powerfully. "It is the teachings which will live, not the teacher…" We are the legacy of those teachings, living on to share them with the next person. It is no longer merely an aspiration; we are now stepping into the role of lighthouse and the Aquarian model of working together. The Aquarian Times/Prosperity Paths merger is the first step of many in our efforts to come together to serve you better.
Sikh Dharma is about living on to share the teachings with the next person, and the next, and the next…Sikh Dharma is a lighthouse organization. Through your contributions we continue serving the many who are interested in living a healthy, happy, and holy lifestyle.
The year end is approaching
As we move into this integrated approach of serving you, please look ahead and plan to give your support to Dasvandh. Here are some ways to do that:
1. Start a monthly tithing program with EFT, Credit Card Debit or Online Banking.
2. Increase your existing tithing program.
3. Set aside part of your year end bonus to contribute.
