Meditation for Inner Strength (with pic)
In Espanola, the Dharmic Secretariat has decided to begin a series of meditations to help enhance a strong group consciousness. We invite you - our world-wide community - to join us. The first meditation selected was Meditation for Inner Strength taught by Yogi Bhajan, 1/17/00, and will be done for 40 days.


Meditation for Inner Strength

Position: Sit with a straight spine in Easy Pose. Arms are extended slightly up and forward at 45 degrees angles.
Mudra: Thumb and index finger are touching in Receptive Gyan Mudra.
Breath: Whistle in deeply, hold, cannon-fire exhale through the mouth.
Eyes: Closed
Time: 11 minutes.
To End: Inhale deeply, holding the breath and straightening the spine as much as possible, then cannon-fire exhale through the mouth. Repeat two more times, holding the breath and tightening every fiber of the body. Relax.
